The site
Corralea is all about sustainable living, protecting our environment & embracing nature. Here, we value the little things in life, the song of a bird, an amazing sunset, a friendly smile.
Our 16 acres site offers space, privacy, forest & lake. You can socialise in a secluded environment, with your own accommodation and your own living area.
Corralea offers a great set up for any kind of social gathering. 4 cottages of differing sizes surround the communal lawn. A BBQ hut , Fire pits & picnic tables create a convivial atmosphere for outdoor dining.
The forest, home to wild deer, surrounds the site, offering a safe, secluded retreat… You can truly switch off from our technology driven lifestyle and embrace the natural world around you.
The lake lies just a stone’s throw from all cottages, perfect for wild swimming, canoeing, or stargazing from the Lough Swing.
The activities
Lots of FREE activities will keep children busy while adults chat or relax. They can enjoy the playground, forest swings, orienteering course, building huts in the forest, biking trails, fishing, football, volleyball or badminton, swimming, Lough Swing, etc…
Corralea also provides outdoor activities on site for residents: Archery, Canoe & SUP board hire. E-bikes are available to hire for adults. Our instructors will recommend the best routes to enjoy your ride, whether it is a lap of the lake or a trip to Ballintempo forest. Or you can book an Electric Escape with Brian and discover the Fermanagh Scarplands with its hidden gems (neolithic tombs, caves & remote thatched pub).
The Experiences
Our BBQ hut and its sheltered area is a favourite with our family & social groups. It’s great for a convivial evening around the firepit. We provide plates, cutlery, glasses, ustensils, and we light the fire for you at a time that suits you. You bring and cook your own food.
Last but not least, you can book our unique Forest Eco Spa. It is hidden in the forest on the shores of the lake. The hot tub has no bubbles… you can immerse yourself in the sounds of the forest, listening to the breeze in the leaves. The Nordic sauna has a stunning panoramic window with fabulous views of Lough Macnean, Thur Mountain and the Leitrim hills. The beehive pod offers an intimate relaxation on wooden loungers, mini fridge and tea making facilities. You have exclusive use of the Forest Eco Spa for a relaxing 3 hours.
